How to Volunteer:

We love community involvement in our efforts. There are lots of volunteer opportunities that are great for completing internship hours, or just a way to become more involved in the community.

The first step to volunteering with SAFE is to complete online training. The training is a 40-hour PCADV requirement and can be completed at your own pace.

Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence [PCADV] is one of our funders and defines the standards of our practice.

Ways To Volunteer With SAFE

Hotline Attendant

Be part of the crucial crisis hotline rotation that SAFE provides to Clarion County. Assist survivors with options to meet their immediate safety needs.

Shelter Assistant

Organize clothing and other item donations, and assist the Shelter Manager with facility needs.

Event Planning

Assist board members with event planning and facilitation to spread awareness and/or raise money for SAFE's programs.

Floating Volunteer

Are you interested in helping in multiple ways? Be one of our floating volunteers, and spend time filling in where we are in need.
